District 5730 Projects
Rotary District 5730, which encompasses over 50 Rotary clubs across most of the West Texas panhandle, supports several district-wide and national projects.
Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA)
This program awards nominated area high school students with a week-long camp for personal, leadership and community development free of charge to the student.
This program is focused on finding and nurturing young people to be the next-generation leaders in our communities in Service Above Self.
Rotary Youth Exchange
This global program enables West Texas high school students to spend a month or a year abroad, living with Rotarian hosts and immersing themselves in the culture of their host countries to foster cross-cultural understanding and community service.
In return, West Texas Rotary clubs and families host exchange students from overseas, with the same goal of learning about the American culture and Rotary's service to others in our area.
